Clenbuterol HCL

Clenbuterol (often referred to as 'Clen') is not a steroid as such, however its often referred to as a non-steroidal steroid as its effects are very similar. It is however a Beta 2 (β2) Sympathomitetic and central nervous system (CNS) stimulant. It is a fairly specific agonist, stimulating the adrenergic beta 2 (β2) receptors in the brain.

-Clenbuterol Definition-
1, Clenbuterol
a long-acting, ß2-adrenergic agonist, with a 36 hour half life and upto 3 days to fully be untilised and cleared.

2, Clen is an adrenergic beta-agonists, typically beta2, bronchodilator agent, and sympathomimetic compound.

3, Clenbuterol is a drug prescribed to sufferers of breathing disorders as a decongestant and bronchodilator.

4, Clenbuterol is most commonly available in salt form as Clenbuterol Hydrochloride, aka HCl or HCL.

It is used in certain countries around the world in a medical sense as a bronchodilator in the treatment of asthma, though not in the UK and USA, mainly due to its long half life, which can last days and days.

Athletes and bodybuilders use the drug due to its thermogenic and anti-catabolic effects, as well as its fat burning properties. This is down to its ability to slightly increase the body's core temperature, thereby raising calorie (energy) expenditure. It is thought that as little as 1°F increase yields around a 5% increase in maintenance calories burned.

Clenbuterol can cause muscle growth and significant strength gains similar to a combination of Winstrol and Oxandrolone (banned steroids). Clenbuterol has strong anti-catabolic effects, which mean it decreases the rate at which protein is reduced in muscle cells. So you lose very little muscle and lots more fat. Body builders and athletes use Clenbuterol after steroids to balance the resulting catabolic phase and obtain maximum strength and muscle mass.

The anabolic and anti-catabolic effects of clen are not as strong in humans as they are in animals, this is thought to be due to the fact that humans lack the abundance of beta 3 receptors which increase insulin production and sensitivity.

Clenbuterol is dosed in micrograms (mcg/µg), not ro be confused with milligrams (mg), and most commonly in tablet form, though there are other forms of administration such as liquids, nasal sprays, injectables and granules, altho the latter tends to be for vetrinary use under the brand name ventipilmin.

Note: Although dosages are in microgram amounts, many manufacturers will list the active ingredient as milligrams (mg), so a tablet of 20mcg, which is the standard and most easily controlled dosing weight will be labelled as 0.02mg.

Do not fall into the trap of thinking 0.02mg is not alot, when other aids like Ephedrine HCL are in 30mg, which is 1000s of times more. Also be aware that you don't mix the different measurements up, as 20mg of clenbuterol will be very dangerous.
